Followed the Tour through a village in Normandy last year in the old Alfa. We were on our way back from the Le Mans classic when we came accross the 'Route Barre' As soon as the support cars went past the Gendarme waved us through on the promise that we hammered the car up the hill through the village as fast as we could. I don't think he thought that a 60's car was as capable of climbing that hill as briskly as it did. Still, the locals seemed to enjoy it
Hoping to be joining Defiant in Milano that week for Alfa's 100th birthday bash. That should be a great road trip.
