If it's legit it looks like he only bought it a few weeks ago for £194

better pics on the previous sellers original listing

It all ties in, the winning bidder seems to be the same guy with only 5 feedback.

Edit ; Doh, I just looked at his feedback rather than that listing, it more than seems to be him   .

It has got the Risse shock on the front and a coil on the rear so why the hell is he talking about elastomers?

Is he trying to make a quick buck out of this or am I missing something?

The Risse has to be worth at least a hundred on its own.

right just to add to the mystery, they guy had an avalanche listed a few weeks back that i bid on and was outbid. He then comes back to me with a second chance offer. which gave me the chance to have a look at the bike as hes very local to me. It took a few weeks to arrange but went to have a look at the avalanche and met the guy.
Very nice bloke, met him at his work in Shirley ( a place not a lady), seemed honest and trustworthy, and said he got the avalanche from a friend and knew nothing about bikes himself. i didnt buy the avalanche as it obviously spent some time as a jump bike and has a right big dent by the bottom bracket which hadn't been mentioned and i nearly missed. The only thing worth anything on the bike was a hope front wheel, so I walked away.
He also showed me his current bike, a nice duck egg blue, relatively low spec carrerra, ladies geometry, he had just bought it he said he only just realised it was a ladies and was going to give it to his GF which confirmed for me he knew nothing about bikes really.
I think im a good judge of charachter, but it seems a tad strange for him to be buying quality retro ,although his mate clearly knows about bikes judging from some of the part on the GT. I may still have his number if anyone want to call him

perhaps hes not so trustworthy after all, he has relisted the avalanche and has not mentioned the big dent on the seat tube where it meets the bottom bracket shell which was the reason i walked away. When i met him we spoke about letting people know about this if he was relisting in ebay.
The dent was about the size of a ten pence and the tube was quite deformed. The paint had come away wuite a bit at the weld, and it looked like it had been filled, although this could have been the remains of the undercoat. it would have worried me on a steel bike let alone an aluminium one, I also think where it was is rather critical :? :? :? :?

the bike looks far better in the pics than it does in the flesh too  The hope front wheel is very nice though

The 2 links on this topic of the same bike, all he has done is copy and paste the description from the guy he bought it from 4 weeks ago.

I have just asked a few questions regarding this bike in topic also dropped in how long has he owned it for, so ill let you know what he says, as you say higher up this page it is definatly the bike he bought 4 weeks ago, not many user names have a Z & 3 in them. This is feedbcak from the guy he bought it off, just found it.
