problems rc35 problems onza hos problems cantilever adaptor

I cant fit my rc35s to my cannondale because the bottom cone is loose on the steerer and i dont have a shim can anyone help?

I cant fit my onza cantilevers on my rc 35s because the part of the brake boss on the fork that takes the spanner to undo them is slightly to wide and the cantilever wont fit over them, can you get diffrent size brake bosses to fit rc35S?

The cantilever adaptor i just got from pace is slightly to small to fit over the boss it is meant to fit on! shall i just drill it out? has anyone else had this problem? if anyone is running rc35s with cantilevers, is the adaptor meant to be spring loaded ? if possible a few photos of someone elses setup would be very helpfull , many thanks guys this is doing my head in nothing fu*k*ng fits !!!!

The pace rocker for cantilevers isn't sprung AFAIK. There are a few different versions though I believe as there are a few versions of the fork brace. As for your cantis not fitting, do other brakes fit? Do they fit on the frames brake mounts?

they fiton the bikes brake mounts no problem ! just not on the pace mounts. I have it sorted now, i gave all the bits to an 80 year old engineer who drilled out the cantilever adaptor, he made a shim for the steerer and he removed the brake bosses and thurned them down a fraction of a millimeter and it all fits now !!
