Not sure if this is in the correct section but this months Cycling Plus acknowledges the post ride nutritional power of scotch eggs, going so far as to champion them on the cover. Forget MBUK, this is THE important magazine related news this month. Vindication is mine!

Alas, your better half at last years MM was actually inspired then with the multiple mini scotch eggs! :)
Get sorted for HONC now..powerbars, pah! Give me some rough hoof and brain wrapped around some mashed up powdered egg anyday!

Scotch eggs, pah; tiffin rules every time

The tiffin is indeed mighty fine but don't you be disrespecting the power of the egg.

Next month will apparently have a feature entitled "Whither the Gala Pie? - fusing the scotch egg with the pork pie" as well as debating the weighty egg/sausage meat ratio issue thrown up by the picnic egg.

Coffee on screen moment! Genius Ed.

Shame I don't like egg. Can I just eat the meaty breadcrumb bit and still benefit?

MBR mag was pushing Mars drink as a good post ride recovery drink. Good balance of carbs and protein in a tasty beverage. Must try it soon.
