So he left a dog to die in a car before, yet not only did he get to keep his job as a handler but actually got promoted?

How come he wasn't prosecuted the first time round for animal cruelty?

I think he will this time and hopefully be banned from keeping animals.

Call me cynical, but I reckon the "suicide" attempt was actually an attempt to get some sympathy to try and divert attention from what he'd done to those helpless animals.
