Playstation 3 meltdown problem / glitch !!

ive got a bit of time off... i went to play my 60g ps3... and i couldnt get on-line, so i put in my new "heavy rain" game to play off line.... and i couldnt even play this game i just paid £42 off line !!!
my console reset itself to the year 2000 !!! :shock:

massive glitch with the 60g versions :roll:

how are they going to patch it if you cant log on....arrrrrgh i need my bad company.....

i was wondering that ? but apparently you will have to download the patch through your pc to a memory stick... then plug that in to your ps3 !!
im wondering how long its going to take for them to fix it ?

if you have a slimline version, then you will be okay.
if you have an original 60g then the advice it not to use it for the min untill they get it sorted ! however i dont think you will damage it you might just lose some trophies..

i have the fat boy ones maybe best i leave it for a bit. don't fancy breaking it
