pedal stuck

Small hammer normally helps. And if not try a big hammer.

Both have had an outing today,and the bugger still wont budge.Can't think what I can use to put over the end of my spanner to give me more leverage either.

Knew there had to be some use for this.

i had this with a set of old deore ones , i put the pedal facing down in my vice and poured a little drop of diesel in the back of the thread as the pedal did'nt go all the way through the arm . left it for 2 days and it came out with just a little more grunt than the norm

left hand pedal unscrews clockwise but you knew that didnt you...

you can always do the stomp - make a triangle with the spanner and crank arm, then stomp on the middle. make sure its the right way round though!

I've managed it on the other arm by clamping the pedal spindle spanner face?! in the vice with 2 big allen keys in the jaws to clear the pedal itself and then put a loooong bar over the crank arm and used leverage.
