some of you may have read my thread last year about picking up a NOS pashley 26mhz...?

full story here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=277788

had a bit of a financial crisis at the beginning of the year, christmas/water bill/car breaking/general annoying things

sadly the pash had to go    I was very sad..

been on the look out for another one and this little gem popped up on ebay a few weeks ago so it had to be done!

it was just a frame set with brakes, a few of the bits added are from my old bike as it was just the frame and forks which I sold on...

so, when it arrived it was a bit on the grubby side, I stripped off a the few old components and gave them to a mate who wanted them, out came the rags and polish and away I went....

middleburns and saddle fitted and I went to bed....

next day (last night) I started throwing it together...

the forks/front wheel and tyre will be going, they are just there so I can take it out for a spin at the weekend

chain tensioner is in the post so hopefully I'll have it rideable by tomorrow night!

excited 8)

up and running now! here are a couple of pics of me trying to re-live my teens!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I then had a first attempt at building a front wheel - never done this before but it was worth a pop as the bike shop was pricey!

Ive got it about 1/4 mm out from being perfect! well chuffed what a bit of youtube contains!

I wanted a non disc hope hub with a mavic 5D21 CD rim and trying to find that for sale complete was just not happening!

heres how she looks with the new home made wheel... the forks will be changed soon 8)

Re:

Fairplay nice to see some more pics how did you get on riding trials again?

I have to be honest I prefer your other pashley you had but this ones nice too.

I've been on the look out for another cheap trials bike as a second bike just to try and keep the basics plus a bit more so I can start teaching my son in a couple of years!

Re:

Its amazing what muscles dont get used in normal life and then they get really pulled when you start doing the things you used to do when riding trials.
