Im in the process of putting together a bike for a lovely girl who has just left university and needs a bike to get to a part paid / part work experience job in town.
Sadly, being 50k in debt after her degree, sharing a flat and sadly buying a crock of crap bike off Facebook, she's pretty broke.
So, im building her a bike from parts in my shed and a donated frame and fork that had been in a garden for 2 years! Which had its own challenges....including freeing it from the ivy
.
To finish it im short of a few bits so im hoping in your bins and boxes you might be able to find them.
Basically im after
7 speed shifters or brifters
v brake levers (if not brifters)
Set of grips
7 speed chain
Possibly a 80mm highish rise 11/8" ahead stem...as i fear the one ive used is too long.
None of it needs to be perfect, just working.
obviously happy to pay postage and if somebody has more than one bit, that would be a great help to keep the cost down too.
