Panasonic Raleigh - Team Issue?

Re:

we used to to take great delight in gently pinging the raleigh 753 frames that came into the shop back in the mid 80s. ping one of the main tubes with your finger nail and it will likely make a fragile "tinny" sound.

that's 753 alright!

Update...

Frame arrived :) Surprisingly the fork numbers match. PJ2 87. I checked to see if the original number was possibly interfered with & ... no its good.

That's very good news :D

Re:

A quick dry build to see if everything fits... All good except....

I had a Campag Super Record Italian thread 115mm bottom bracket ready to go on the bike. The bike has Campag British thread 111mm bottom bracket (Sealed Bearing). :?

Also & I ran out of time to have a proper look but the crank arm securing bolts on the
Super Record axle do not fit the sealed bearing axle :?

So.... Can I assume its ok to fit the Super Record crankset to the 111mm BB ? & any information or gentle abuse on my lack of crank bolt knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

The front forks match but were definitely resprayed. The Rayleigh decals were not laquered & despite being a good paint job there is plenty overspray on the tube .

The wife is out of the house tonight so I can have a good look at things :D

Thanks Shane.
