Spent way too long trying to set one up and actually get it to move both cantis. Still doesn't work :evil: :evil:
Is there some sequence that makes this a doddle?

Help please! ..or a set of Vs will sneak on which are so not period correct and then I will get shunned by mtbr

Relax... Breath...and.... Go Slow I Never had much trouble with 986's
but shimano were a pain as not as much adjustment. I generally did all the adjusting on the rocker itself.

phew! ok, will start afresh tomorrow, and try a different set up.

3 springs and two adjustments on leverage that all interact :? ity looks so simple..
