PACE RC35 experts... any intel on this mess?

So I've recently took to the idea of buying several of the same fork off of ebay 'not working/for spare parts' where I took the presumption if I buy 2 or 3 of the same fork cheaply, I might be able to build one very nice fork from all the bits haha!

So this turned up recently, I've a few RC35s now... this looks to be a very early set perhaps? It also appears that the lower brake boss mounts should be bonded onto the carbon lower legs and have been 'removed' somehow? The idea of 'bonding' them back on is probably not one of my best. The steer tube, whilst alloy, appears to be a solid cylindrical section of alloy thats had a thread turned in each end and then also a hexagonal bottom plate - is this the work of Pace or some other fudgery?

Lastly... can the stanchions and guts of this fork in picture be used in the later RC35AB lowers - I have a set of RC35ABs that have threads stripped on their skewer rods and thinking of bolting in the stanchions and internal bits from above (with an extra washer as not in picture).

Re:

Yeah, early bonded canti mounts, prone to "popping off" can be rebonded, but not to be trusted, would always prefer the slightly later clamped version

Steerer looks interesting, the early RC100 stem steerers used the used the reverse bolt on the underside of the crown, but not seen it on a 1" steerer

Cross compatibility,in theory, elastomers and bolt lengths should be the same...

Steerer is 1.1/8 all the way and ahead guys, thanks for the heads up on cross compatibility of the guts! It deffo looks an early one as there is the pronounced 'step' in the carbon legs...
