Mine is attached direct to the brake lever clamp bolt... And I can't get a spanner to it!

how have they done that? send us a pic please

(sorry for mini high jack - maybe best to discuss on my build thread!)

have they cut the clamp off and then bolted straight through the lever? looks like they have. can't you remove it by undoing the allen key bolt through the top of the lever?

I have tried gently but did not want to cause harm to the lock out itself at the fork end (turning the allen key, turns the lever)

just tried removing the bolt on one of the lock out levers on mine and it does come out, the bolt just holds the lever onto the clamp.

cheers mate, unfortunately haven't had a chance to ride it properly yet apart from round the block will do soon tho'

thinking of changing the grips to the same sort of colour too, what d'ya think, too much brown?
