Pace Frame Vs Maintenance Stand

Dan C

Retro Newbie
Greetings all, stumbled across the site after rummaging through Bike Radar!! Think I have found my spiritual home as I have got a Pace RC200 F4 (will update the serial number when I dismantle the cable guides) and the other half has a tenth anniversary Orange Clockwork (the green one!)

So, as all new people who register to the site, first things first, a question!

I am looking at getting a maintenance stand but wondering if there are any issues in getting a Pace RC200 to be gripped firmly? Any recommendations from any lovely Pace Owners?

Your wisdom in such matters is eagerly awaited (my back will thank me no end!)

Had mine in there last night funnily enough and it was firm enough. First time I have put my Pace in there as it was unexpectedly brought out of storage and needed using today :D

I've got an X-Tools stand btw.

Get one that clamps on the seatpost, not on the frame for fear of crimping. Seatposts are cheap to replace, RC200s not so!

Park everytime!
