Pace forks too short for Marin bobcat Trail 1999

Retro Newbie
Hey guys,
Just fitted pace retro forks to my Marin bobcat but they're about 2 inches too short so I can't finish fitting them. They have a small thread inside can I buy like a riser to go inside to give me the height I need?
Cheers

Re:

You got a photo that shows the problem?

You might be able to get a steerer extender to get you out of your predicament.

What Pace forks are they exactly?

Some of them you can replace the steerer for a longer one, which would probably be a better solution imo.

What headset are you running, ahead or threaded? Options vary depending on which type. 2 inches is a lot though, does the steerer extensive past the headset at all (I'm guessing not).

As above, earlier pace forks allowed the steerer to be removed, so if you have one like that, happy days. If not.....

Pace rc36. I think there replaceable but can't figure out how to do it.
Undone the two small screws but the steerer just turns.
