Saw them play at Reading Festival in 1989 :-) Got all their albums! lol

themountie, how come the rear breaks on your Seeker are "down below", mounted underneath the chain stays? Looking nice though :-)

Some bicycles around that time used "U" brakes on smaller frames, I know Marin did, because the old style cantilever brakes with wide, sticky-outy arms would catch your heels when used on the rear. With later compact cantilevers and V-brakes it wasn't an issue so they stopped using "U" brakes.

I loved my old Dia Compes but on a small Clockwork frame, I was forever catching my heels on the rear cantis. It was a revelation when I finally succumbed to fitting modern V-brakes.

I have no idea dose match the catalog scan I have tho ,it's forsale soon
