OK, this may come through a bit 'wrong', I found it funny though, to a degree......

Have recently been deployed to a new office and obviously they don't know my background. I have told my line manager what I have done in the past, blah blah blah and I am still to be trained with their office procedures. No mean feat really.....however, I was with one of the lawyers yesterday and they were showing me how to do something, and not very well. They kept missing the monitoring codes, didn't add the police information correctly and it came to a point where it felt I was actually training them?! Erm?!?!

Then today was with a colleague who works at the same level I do, instead of talking with me he was talking down to me and it really began to grind. Having to watch him input this data increadibly slowly, this is a job I've done for many years and I was just wanting to get on with the job in hand and clear the work.

Am I wrong to grumble? In a way I found it amusing.

Just rambling here....

ive done pretty shitty jobs before , notably night shelf stacking in a supermarket , the night manager had the forethought to read my cv and once i had met him he said " well you wont have any trouble doing this " the deputy however was a typical forkie who got fed up being told what to do being a forkie and went through the extra training to be able to tell others what to do as a manager , badly . he was always wrong  it was both funny and painful to finish his sentences  . often he would come up to me on a power trip and tell me to stop what i was doing and go off and do something else , didnt like it when i would say i had done it hours before and i was picking up his slack

i would be sarcastic , go to sleep and when they have a go just look blurry eyed at them and say " oh have you finished trying to tell me how to do that wrong , can i go and actually do it right now ? "

I worked, briefly  in the meat department of a large well known supermarket, where i had to work under managers and chargehands that were company trained as butchers or 'meat improver's' as they liked to call them.
I myself am fully time-served in nearly all aspects of my trade and a member of my trade guild .

I left as i cant stand people that know next to f**k all about the trade and try to tell you how to do it,dont do it like that ,do it the way I'M telling you :x
They themselves always seem to work at a snails pace,as if they arent familiar with what they're doing.

At least we have the option to render down bad work colleges into sausages

Should an opportunity arise
