I just want to mail her and say Hi, I am someone's son. I had a life at Uni, and one day returned home to find my father had sold "that BMX" that was in the garage. That BMX was fundamental to my formative years. As I get older, I need some lifeboats to grasp, recalling those heady days of my youth. I have searched for that same BMX for years but to no avail.

Your son may one day look for his lifeboat. Are you going to allow him to drown? What kind of a mother are you?
