oilite bushings for rear suspension?

Re:

Not for bikes, the BETD site shows the LTS link with the cream coloured bushes in place

Cheers. Am probably worrying over nothing at the mo.ent as the sts is nice and tight, I just don't want supplies of spares to dry up as I plan on keeping it for as long as possible. The bearing upgrade seems to be the way forward and I have one in situ on a frame I bought for them specifically, but I don't fancy trying to hammer/drift out the bits so looking at alternatives.

Ok, I stopped being a coward and drifted the bearings and bushings out of the lts. Not as hard as I thought. Next I need to bring myself to dismantle a perfectly good sts.

When I looked at the bearing BETD were selling most were common bearings that you could buy from places like bearingboys for a 1/4 of the cost, the fact they are on a bike and put together in a kit seems like a licence for these places to print money. Quality bearings from manufacturers like SKF or RHP only cost a few pounds each and how many does an LTS need? About 8? Get the calipers out and measure the sizes you need and get over to bearingboys and see what they have.

This is exactly why I started looking around. Bearings are all measured so I know what I need, it's the fixtures and fittings that make this a bit tricky. I'm sure there are suppliers out there, but take bearingboys, they sell bearings, but not bearing specific bolts and races. The betd kit has all these and I'm looking at options but so far nothing is available off the shelf sadly, so it would need to be custom. I could of course be looking in the wrong places and not know the terminology.
