Numb Hands. Grip and Glove Recommendations Please

Due to a non-cycling related injury and general life getting in the way I took a break from regular cycling for about 7 years. I'm trying to get back into it now and am having real issues with numb fingers and palms, even on bikes I previously had no problem with so I'm thinking maybe I'm just not used to it rather than it being a bike fit issue.

I'm looking for reccomendations for really padded fingerless gloves and grips. What's available these days? Thanks

I use SQLab 710s. Pricey compared to some other grips but super comfy and big enough that you can also move your hands to ease additional pressure. I personally don't use gloves. I should probably get some non padded ones because, personally, the padding generally presses in places which instigate numbness for me. Also, it could be down to too much pressure on your so do consider bring the stem up a smidge and monitor the outcome just in case it is patially fit related.

Ive used Ergon grips, the type with the built in "bar end" for the last few years, but Christ , they're expensive now! worth it though...

Numb hands can be intractable.

Padded gloves is no1, softer grips, shock absorbing pads.
Lbs should have something.
- if it's shock or vibration as the cause.

Changing the bar position might be necessary, if it's pressure on the joints - taking some or all pressure off the wrists.

Occasionally riders have to sacrifice an otherwise comfortable and efficient position because their hands can't take it🙄but usually lesser measures have a large effect.

Good luck.
