Not so retro pump question (polite opinions invited)

I've been let down by gas too many times :lol:

Wierd though on the two occasions I've used it on a car it worked perfectly - apart from the clean up of the rims afterwards.

Gas is fine if yo have a pump as back- up.

I have a Topeak that's pretty small but most importantly doesn't feel like it will snap or fall to pieces when I use it.

Blackburn double shot, tiny but pumps up really fast as wide bore and pushes air in both strokes, very low strength required too, mines qbout 14 yer old and is fully rebuildable!
 
i have never had any success w/ and hand pump that was not huge like the old blackburn mammoth. So i have gone to CO2 100% of the time and just bring a cartridge for every hour i'll be on the bike.
