Not Exactly Gravel

Well, that was a bit of a side track, I'll remember not to step away for so long. Seems my shed has become a bike bed and breakfast. Be warned, it's crowded out there, might have to share the space with an angry raccoon, and the coyotes get pretty noisy outside the door come January...

Great fun lads, but kinda messy thread now. Time to clean it up, if possible.

Moderators/forum wizards, would it be possible to remove posts 19-23, 25-28, 29-34, and 36?
I'm sure it will be fine mate, no need to worry. We sorted it 👍

I don't know if the thread title gives it away, but I will be building two Canadian rough riders here. The Rambler will be "Not Exactly Gravel", there is also a "Not Exactly Mountain" bike to come. View attachment 671335
Suitable frame has not yet been located for my "woods bike" build, but I've got moto bars so wide I need to change aspect ratio View attachment 671336View attachment 671337
I've got a set of 26" Arayas, a 3 speed Sturmey Archer hub, and a killer stem. That's all for now
Nice stem

This is going to be one of the coolest fecking rides brother

Can already imagine it.

About the cranks, they're pretty crusty and it looks rad, don't know if it's crusty enough to have messed with the structural integrity of them. If you're not going to be jumping the bike I doubt they'll bend or snap anytime soon. You're not a big fella weight wise either are ye?
