just found details on sheldons page, I'm weighing up the compatiblity odds just now as they are only 18 speed and I have 21 sp XT ones sitting doing nothing.

Yeah 6 speeders. Remember wanting them for my crappy 18Spd Peugeot.

Remember wanting to spec these on an adult model back in 94 or 5 when they came out but Shimano wouldn't allow it to happen. They even put a sticker on the back side of the brake levers that said for junior bicycles only. The brake lever portion was definitely designed for smaller hands.
