As the titles says it is a NOS 19" '97 GT Psyclone in yellow. Date of manufacture is 27/02/97. It still has the rear canti parts, seat collar (they are removable) and the original ID card. If you require more photos or info please PM me. It has never been fitted with any parts and only has a small blemish on the rear mech dropout where it has been tightened into a display unit. Other than that the paint and graphics are perfect, no sun bleaching or damage. The tubing is True Temper OX Gold triple butted.

Now for the nitty gritty it's £1200 ex delivery. It will be delivered via a carrier or it may be collected, it's up to you.

Enjoy the photo.

I think you may have made a typo!! You've put £1,200 excluding post on your advert.

Sure there's a (maybe earlier) NOS one at Alf Jones in Wrexham. 97 is on the cusp of 'retro' IMHO - and just how much would an earlier (ps)cyclone be indexed to this price? What was the best specced/built year I wonder - GM?

I'm sorry if I have offended anyone. My gauge was: 1) How much would a new fillet brazed frame cost today? 2) It is perfect with no corrosion, paint chips or scratches. It is like new. 3) Original price plus inflation plus storage cost? 4) Rarity?

I don't think anyone is offended - there's lots of us seasoned retrobike twitchers that will always be intrigued by rising valuations of brands and models. Whose to say you aren't spot on with your logic - if you get a buyer then a benchmark is set. Good luck!

GLWS, seriously.

However, if we were all to attach 'storage cost' to the price of old frames pre-sale we'd be millionaires...

Have you accounted for:

5) Cleaning?

6) Carrying?

This time next year Rodders...!

BB.

Please don't think that anyone is having a go at you Jon, we're not.

It's just that we are an experienced bunch when it comes to this kind of thing. It's just that your expectations are little out of whack when it comes to the price of this frame. The fact you are asking more because you have stored it is a little odd. Oh how I would love that to be the case with all things, my 50 year old VW would be priceless!!

Remember, we're not all just a bunch of miserable old bastards, that like to have a pop at people... well I am, but that's besides the point!

Welcome to the forum and I wish you all the best with the sale.

Hi guys,

No offence meant and non taken.

BB has got a point I did miss a couple of extraneous costs!

He who dares, Rodney. He who dares.....

Plus I'm rubbish at politics, so thanks for being gentle with me.

I'm off to the man cave to play with a bike.
