Newbie Marin Bike Help

come on, get that tool bolted on there and a big lever, we're all rooting for you.

incidentally, if you're using a splined tool the BB isn't original so please discard my comment above. definitely give the vice a go though if you've got the tool bolted on there.

good luck

Re:

OMG please jesus christ pleae help me

I managed to find a bolt to secure the bb remover tool to the bb.

However i still cannot get the cun*ting thing off. I've triest my best with my physical strength and i've hit the spanner with a hammer many times

Am i 100% doing it the right way? anti clockwise, non drive side.

Re:

Plusgas or any penetrating oil should be used.
Remember to hit the bottom bracket cup while doing that to help it get in.

Strip the bike, you don't want the wheel in there and use the frame as leverage. Better yet get the tool clamped and rally use the frame as leverage.

Re:

You're undoing it the right way but leverage beats a hammer every time.

Get some plus gas in there over a few days then try your best to find someone with a vice.
