Agreed, but did Alpinestarts make a tig welded aluminum frame in 1993, I don't believe the answer to that question is yes.

they did polished elevated and bright orange elevated models
so they may have done black ones or someone may have painted it

there is a test in a mag i have somewhere on a polished one high end build
i'll see if i can find it over the next few days or so

They sure did, infact a full range of elevated al-megas. But this bike is not one of them, its a British Eagle for sure.

Thanks for everyone's help, I think we can call this frame identified.

Does anyone have a serial number of a Boss? I would love to check mine against that to see if they are close in number.
