Dirt Disciple
Hi I'm new here and after swearing never to ride an MTB again after busting my back at Cannock, Ive rashly bought a Gary Fisher frame off Fleabay. I reckon it could be a 96 mt tam but I'm probably wrong

So already Ive picked up some some Pace forks and have a rough idea where I'm going with the bike.

My intention is to avoid the stupid stuff and just enjoy the trails. Retro I reckon is the way forward for that.

I also have a spangly road bike, a single speeder for work and I am building a recumbent trike, so quite why I am a lard arse is beyond me. I blame my age

Well it's too late to warn you off, welcome.

Your life will now be spent looking at railway cycle parks
for 'anything interesting' and late nights on ebay trying to
spot that bargain no one else has noticed.

how true.

 On my train run into London there is Cindercone from about 1993 that chained up at Walton-on-Thames station that I always see from my Window when we stop. In nice condition it is too. Funny how you spot these things :)

Carl.

just ben told about a bike that has been slung in a hedge about 4 days ago, still there. think i will go for a walk tomorrow.......

So true, I'm already buried into ebay and other sites and keep visualising how things are going to build up. All I need is some successful specualtive bids and the work can begin
