New project - need help/advice

Hello guys,
I want to get myself new project and cannot decide between these two bikes:

1. Specialized S-works (what year is this one from? What campy components are these? Is it worth 250€?)
2. Colnago Tecnos - this one I really really like but it is 57cm and considering I am 183-4cm in height, I wonder if it'll be too big for me? The guy asks around 300€ - is it worth the money?)

mind you, I'll use these bikes on regular basis for commuting but also for training. Which one do you recommend?

here are some pics:

The Specialised looks bigger than the Colnago. If it was my choice, I would have the Colnago everytime (colour/lugs/chrome). Just on looks alone, it wins. I'm 6ft and would happily ride a 57 Colnago.

Speci is 56cm.
I rly do like Colnago more it looks great - my only concerne is the size. So you say you are my height and you wouldn't mind 57cm Colnago? Thank you for your suggestion. What do you think of price?

The Colnago is by far the better buy, those old Specialized frames are not worth much and look rather clunky. However I do like the kit on the Spec. so If it were me I would buy both and sell off the parts you don't need and perhaps come out ahead? I actually think that would be easy since the Campagnolo ergo shifters can easily bring 100 euros on Ebay and that is just one part. In fact looking at these two bikes I am confident that with a little time and effort you could recoup the entire investment of 550 euros and get a free bike. But that is just my opinion.

The Spesh is an Sworks... worth 250E all day long... I prefer the Colnago though.

@lewisfoto tbh I was not even thinking about making any money out of it, maybe I should. I know bikes, new bikes especially, the story is completely different with oldtimers. It is not that I don't know about it, it is just that I am not very familiar with prices for these parts/bikes.

@ringo ty for your post

So far this has been one sided and only doubt I still have is the size. Rly don't want to buy too big bike, since I plan on using it ALOT!

A good ball park for bike fit is the stand over height. You need to find out the distance from the ground to the top of the crossbar on both bikes. Then stand against a wall and put a book hard up between your legs  keeping your legs straight and measure from the ground to the top of the book. Your leg measurement needs to be around 2cm more than the bike height. It can't be less for obvious reasons

Hopefully the Colnago will fit :)

I'm 185 cm and I ride a 58 cm and a 57 cm. I've got long legs though. 184 cm should be fine on a 57cm unless you've got short legs.

I think modern frames are sized smaller than classic steel. Get the Nag it looks much prettier than the S Works if that's the kind of thing you're after. Although that doesn't look like a 57 c-c judging by the head tube.

I don't have a Colnago and have never ridden one, but lots of folks love them although I don't know why?

any idea what happened to the original forks on the colnago? if you go for that one have a good look or crash damage to the top and down tube, bulges or creases should give you clues.i would take the colnago if it was my choice

I think the colnago is also running on tubs?so you will need to take into account the extra cost

(hard to see if tubs, looking on my phone, but I think the rime are mavic G40,s
