Now you've found the chrome and mauve paint that pretty much concludes that it's a Peugeot Prestige which had a black over mauve fade paint job. Looking at the Reynolds tube specs it's got a 753 heat treated rear triangle and same gauge fork tubes as the 753 but not heat treated.

Today I received some 1.5mm silver soldering rods 55% ag and a bag of flux.
Plan is to fill the dents and solder on the new cable guides using my diy Plumbing torch with mapp gas . If it goes ok I’ll post some pics .
