Mystery and Unidentified Parts

Not a part, but a tool in this case I believe.
Dug these out of a box that has been in the loft since 1994/5.
I think they are bearing drifts for 6903 bearings judging by the bag they were in, and they have a 9mm hole in them.
Two different sizes.
But for what hubs? Any in particular or a universal tool?

They look like the bits supplied with a Royce BB tool for bolting it in place. :)

I've got what appear to be Topline MTB cranks, but the red spider in the image below doesnt look like either the "mountain" or SLS spiders for Toplines I've found on the web (from bikepro).

The red spider is riveted to the crank arm, as in other toplines. Any ideas on the origin/purpose/history of the spider? The bike is circa 1995 topline mountain spider.webp topline_sls_spider.webp crank spider small.webp

Thanks

Topline was a small CNC machine "job shop" that first started making crank arms for Gary Cook to compete against the company he sold off (Cook Bros. Racing). They then began making Grafton Joystix until where were so may structural failures they offered John Grafton another style of crank that they designed for Gary Cook that was not "deceptively similar" to Cook Bros. Products.

So what killed these small bicycle part makers:

Topline: Shimano and the other "big guys" started making REALLY good stuff and they split to find their next "fast $$$".

John Grafton: His wife started having an affair with one of his vendors (John had a tool grinding business and made NONE of his own parts). His wife got the bicycle business out of the divorce, and it quickly "folded".

CQP/ Cook's: Was financially "cooked" by the cost of defending himself against the lawsuit by the fellow that bought Cook Bros. from him. He drank himself to death shortly thereafter!

Cook Bros. Racing: They got their first development contract from NASA to study "hyper gravity dosing for astronauts", then after Sept. 11, 2001 was "contracted" by the US Department of Defense to design ???. I believe that they quit doing bicycle stuff because... It plane old, just wasn't worth the money!
