Long story short - after last months gout came the throat infection. Nasty nasty time of it. I've been waking up suddenly after dozing off to find that I simply couldnt breathe!

Doc says with the back of my throat all inflamed, there was not enough room for my pallet to 'relax' when falling a sleep. So as soon as I nodded off, I'd wake up with my throat all stuck together.

Horrible time for poor Lillian.

Doc says my tonsils have grown back which is no help to anyone...

Mine have been a source of much pain in the past, plenty of gargling aspirin and flinching if I even looked at a piece of toast.

Tonsils can grow back more than once from what other tonsil re-growing folk have told me..
Not in a Hey!! I have 2 sets of tonsils kinda way..

you may be a marvel of regeneration, why not try hacking off a finger and see if that regrows too?
the prospect of tonsil removal hangs over me too, frequent throat infections/tonsilitis over the last couple of years, not nice, but funnily enough I've had no problems since the doctor suggested surgery :?
