My 1996 Marin Monococque
I bought it new from Butlers Cycles in Portsmouth in 1996, I have the all paperwork and original receipts. This is my favourite bike of my mini-collection as I bought new and it was a major purchase for me back in the day.
Changed little over the years as you can see. I changed the seat to a specialised and v-brakes (M739) within the first year or so, then a little later the tyres (Specialised Ground Control). Questionably, I added the moo-cow/camo stickers as I was riding to work on it and thought it may help car drivers see me. I have contemplating removing these but they've always been on it, and it demonstrates my impeccable taste ;-)
