Marin Bolinas Ridge - Model Year ?

Hi - I'm new to this forum , but first started Mountain Biking in 1989 on a Specialized Hardrock Comp !
I have just bought a Marin Bolinas Ridge , but unsure of its year - my guess is 1996 ?
The forks are non standard , but i have the original rigid forks - for fitting at some point.
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the info - i have had a look at bikepedia & agree , only 1999 specs that colour .
The component spec is slighty different to mine , however they looks like US specifications - so UK could vary.
I have the stamped numbers from the bottom shell also - F019JSD169 ?

From a bit of interweb research -
FO = Factory origin
1 = Model
9 = Year
J = Frame size

So i'm a bit more positive its a 1999 anyone agree ?

Yup decals are the 1999 style.

I bought the exact same bike all original parts about 10 years ago and still own it it is definitely 1999. Bit late but there you have it.
