Muddy Fox Alu Team Edition Help

Hi everybody

I'm new to the forum (had a previous account a few years ago but can't remember the details!).

I've basically been riding CX bikes for the past couple of years but toying with the idea of adding a mountain bike too.

Now, a few years ago I bought a 21" Muddy Fox ALu Team Edition frame and its remained in the garage ever since. I'm pretty sure I got it off this board but I can't be sure. The frame is in excellent condition and I'm fairly sure it's never been built up or ridden, but there are a few cosmetic marks from rattling about my garage.

I'd just like a bit of history from you guys in terms of date and a typical build when it was new? If I were to build it up any recommendations for decent kit that won't break the bank? Doesn't necessarily have to be original spec just decent stuff that works.
Any information much appreciated, I gather these are fairly decent frames.

Re:

I have the same frame, in a smaller size, started to build it up but went for a carbon frame instead. Before that I have a MF Alu Comp, this lookd exactly the same frame as the Team Edition, but is in a nice blue, got it around 1995 to 96, it gave a decent ride, but was very stiff. Came with a Rockshox Quadra 5 fork at the time and I think it was Deore LX. Ended using a USE suspension seatpost with it to tame the harsh rear end, but it was a nice ride and is still in the garage as it was my first proper mountain bike. - good memories. Think the team edition probably came with a very low spec originally looking at the headset as mine had a threadless headset at the time when bought. Mine seemed happy enough with a 80mm travel fork and a set of riser bars and for what it was was very light and quick.
