Saw a very nice skinny Orange with some equally skinny road tyres on 26" wheels and was feeling a bit too lazy to delve into Google...

Can you suggest a few?

I run continental Grand Prix in 26x1.1 on my 93 lava dome, i believe 'kingoffootball' runs them on his zaskar on a 1.0 fitting, i need to change my tubes to presta valved ones as schrader valves let a lot of the air out when you try to pump them up to 80+ psi then remove the connector lol

But the bike flies with them on, so pleased with them :D

Bought from a seller on the old bay for £39.99 the pair!

the only problem I've had was which I hit a concealed curb in a cycle path with them.

Oooofff, i bet that stung a touch lol, once ive changed my tubes and can get the tyres to stay up, i reckon we need to go out for a few rides, i need someone to shout and me and make me do it :D

will this uber skinny rubber fit a standard rim (e.g the ones that are currently home to a 2.25 fire xc pro) or do you need a slimline 26" rim once you get below a certain width?

Mine are on the original rims with no bother whatsoever!

Specialized made a 26" version of their Turbo road slicks (Turbo S?). IIRC they came in 1.0". They are very hard to find.
