Have to move out of a 3 bed house into a 1 bed flat.

How much crap have I gathered over the years without noticing?

I'll need to rent a second flat to fit it all in!

Argh bummer there chap i know how you feel ive just had to find some room for 3 tractors a trailer a finger bar mower a hedge cutter (tractor mounted) and shite loads of smaller stuff due to losing some storage space.

We are putting our house on the market soon. Need to find a place that can be adapted for our disabled sons needs.

We have had someone do a viewing already despite it not being officially on the market yet. Loads of decorating and jobs to do before I am happy with it being presented as ready for sale.

You think you have it hard, last summer I moved from a large 2 bed 2 bath flat in oxford, to a double bedroom in a shared flat in London...which costs me the same per month in rent as my Oxford place cost.

Local disability access teams in the area you're looking to move to should be able to help with that?

It took two of the bedrooms just to store all my junk

Yeah, got them on standby to check out any likely looking properties. Idealy we would need a bungalow with space to build a seperate room for him and an adjacent wet-room. Or, a house that can be easily converted.

Of course the property must have secure bike storage options with space for a workshop. Preferably within a few yards of excellent singletrack, next to a pub and opposite a chip shop.

It's a great excercise in decluttering.

When I moved from my house onto a tiny, tiny boat, it was actually quite nice to get rid of all my stuff. I'd even go so far as to describe it as liberating.

If I haven't used it within the last year, it goes.

(apart from bikes)
