Hmmm! You want a quiet life but you are going to go to recover the cost through the small claims court :|

I knew a chap who took a case to the small claims court and then after its all been settled and was paid up,
the person who had to pay up, then set himself a task in getting his own back and chucked paint all over their car.

A Mondeo sized car is currently worth around £55 to a scrappy - and thats if you drive it in. Many scrap dealers wont take ferrous and will no longer take washing machines and ovens.

Expect to see more dumped cars - it will be like it was ten years ago with cars everywhere.

I remember seeing quite a few abandoned cars a while back, most of which were better than the one I was still driving. :?

Me too mate! On my Daughters street there is a lovely silver BMW330, been there for months, two flat tyres, coming up as no insurance and no tax.

Small claims court is an hour of my time filling out a form. Vandalising his car is potentially getting arrested.

As to him chucking paint over my car, he can bring it on. My car would look waaay nicer if someone threw a tin of paint over it.

I scrapped a Mondeo in the summer and got £145 for it and they collected !!!
