Mitsuboshi hilltop tires, more info please....

Hi there, I got these pair installed on a xtr m950 mavic 517 citron wheelset.
The info I got from the web didn't get me so far...I hope somebody knows more about these.TIA

Mitsuboshi Hilltop superheat f 2.1, r 1.95
Early dh tire perhaps?

A small inscription says "advised by paul"
Paul chetwynd from japan?

I see mostly mitsuboshi/tioga early bmx tires

Probably one of the large industrial Japanese companies that churns out all kinds of products, often sold under other brand names.

I wouldn't expect it to he high end stuff, but that sidewall looks pretty cool.

I think majority of their products are automotive belts...
Some of the bmx tires though are selling above average price though on ebay.

I seem to remember Mitsuboshi manufactured Tioga tyres. If someone can go have a look?

Yup - just checked a Farmer John's Cousin and there it is 'Mitsuboshi'
