These are correct for my build but my question is how do they work? Will I need to tralw evilbay for the correct shoes to work with them?

With the help of the internet I think the pedals use 'delta' style cleats ?

Yes, they use standard Look delta mk1 cleats - Campagnolo ones were grey, but weren't any different from regular Look ones. Can be used with any regular 3-hole road shoe.
