Michelin Dynamic Classic tyres. Anyone using them? Opinions?

Got this type of tyre on two of my bikes and never had a problem with them,
though the modern writing is horrible but can be removed.

Why spend more when they are just as good as expensive tyres.

I've got 700x20c ones on my Russian track bike which I commute on. Probably got about 3000 miles on them now since last summer. Grip is fine for day-to-day use and they are very tough. Puncture resistance is pretty good - they are a conventional rubber and they don't seem to pick up debris. The tan sidewall ages quite well and doesn't crack like some tan sides do. I keep about 120psi in the rear and 110psi in the front because of the small profile.

I'll be buying them again, I think they're great tyres for the money.

Blimey! What's the ride like at that pressure ? I only ever stick 100psi in me tyres.

Like riding on the rims I'd say!

Would be good if you have the roads for it, not here though - teeth would be badly affected.

I had heard you got bad chipped teeth mate but not from bike riding

Once pumped up my Veloflex Records up to 150psi and sung to you as you went down the road but the ride was awful - chatter - chatter - chatter

Lol, they aren't that bad. The bike is no compromises, so the tyres suit it quite well!

But yes, the 23mm Vittoria Zaffiro slicks on my Dolan roll a lot smoother.

The writing bothers me a bit too. How do you remove it?

You need 'White Spirit' and some old cloth to get the writing off, please DO NOT USE thinners..

Cut a strip of cloth to cover the name.
Soak the cloth in white spirit, and pressing the soaked cloth into the name, this first softens up the writing.
Ensure the cloth stays wet with white spirit as it will evaporate.
After about 15 minutes of soaking, the time is now to gently start rubbing at the name.
It will start to come off with the black first, then the white, take it steady and it should be gone after five minutes of rubbing.

Keep re-newing the cloth when its filthy with black ink.

NEVER USE CELLULOSE THINNERS AS THIS WILL MELT THE TYRE.

Hope that helps

The main reason I'd never got round to trying to remove the logo was because I wasn't sure how to do it without damaging the tyre so that's a big help, thank you.
