Someone swung on a couple of bolts and stripped the threads.
Nothing to do with through holes.

Just hamfisted Gibbons with hex keys.

To be fair, I have used some alternate bolts which are longer and titaniummer, and the problem is sorted. Have a spare hub now should it be needed.
