Consolidation of some previous ads plus a new item;
1) Mavic 840 index-compatible short-cage rear mech. Suitable for blocks up to 8sp. Excellent working order, all original bits right down to the jockey wheels, cosmetically good condtion. £20 ono posted 1st Class, UK buyers only, payment via PayPal or cheque. Sold to Kaiser.
2) Alien aluminium alloy post (newer design with single-bolt saddle clamp) for sale in black finish, purchased about 3 years ago from Dotbike for 45 quid or so but doesn't suit my new lugged steel frame very well. 270mm long and 25mm diameter. Ideal for older Look lugged carbon road frames, which is what I originally bought it for! Also comes with a black USE shim (cost about £9 last year) to convert it from 25mm to 27.2mm diameter. Post & shim in cood condition bar a few minor insertion scratches (these show up more on the pics thanks to the camera flash). £20 o.n.o. for both posted 1st Class, UK buyers only please. 2) Old-school Shimano cup and cone bottom bracket with caged ball bearings. British thread cups, fixed drive side, adjustable L/H cup with lockring. 117mm JIS square-taper spindle. L/H cup needs a peg spanner to fit it, R/H can be done with an ordinary big adjustable spanner. Both cups have rubber seals to limit muck and water contamination. Good condition, bearings run OK. £4 posted 1st Class in UK as it is all-steel and quite weighty for the size.
