Marin Team - what size steerer?

Afraid that I don't know the year but it's one of the Zolatone ones, guessing 1990-91?

Anyway, anyone know what size steerer I need, appears to be 1 1/8th but I'd have thought frame was too early for that?

Superior knowledge greatly appreciated.

1991 catalogue says 1 1/8" on Team Marin and pretty much all the mountain bike range.

The One pictured is a black with neon lugs, but it also says an interesting fade of yellow, pink and blue was available. Sounds nice

yes, so true. have a 1991 bear valley frame in 19" and the headtube is 15cm!!! am searching for a 18,5cm threaded fork fork quite a while already...

Thanks guys, 1 1/8th it is (was worried for a moment that it would be something daft like 1 1/4th).

To impose on your knowledge a bit more, what size seatpost do I need as my shimmed 27.2 Syncros is not totally happy
