Marin Rift Zone project - it’s not pretty!!

Re:

Thanks! Yeah I’m looking forward to riding it when it’s finished actually. Never rode a full suspension bike before due to the fact they never really interested me back in the day . Couple more weeks should see it finished hopefully!

Re:

So today I managed to get the forks cleaned, re greased and re built. They work quite nicely now and will be fine for the use that they will receive.

Next up is to get the headset cleaned and all the gunk removed before re build can properly start to take shape.

So, managed to finally get round to finishing it off.
Im going to be honest, I bought this bike as it was ideal for me to get stuck into totally rebuilding it, more of a piece for me to practice on and seeing as I had zero attachment or affection to it when I started I didn’t care if it all went wrong.
I’ve got to say though it’s grown on me, it’s actually turned out a lovely little bike.
It rides fantastic too.
Totally striped it down, cleaned, de greased, re greased, new cables, new (off another Marin) wheels and a new saddle.
Hope you like it!
