SOLD
Have for sale here a 15.5inch 1994 Marin Palisade Trail. Asking £85 pounds posted to mainland UK.
It's in great condition, with everything looking barely used. The only exception are the foam grips. One looks a bit chewed & the other is split. The I have a new set that comes with the sale. Also comes with period correct Specialized matching purple bike computer. Have no idea if it actually works but is the sort of crap we put on our bikes back then. Talking of crap put a poorly matching purple bell on it. Sorry, tat from a pound shop. The bike was a shed find with me putting under 50miles on it. There is some marks & chips on the bike and the decals are not perfect, but as the pics show still very tidy indeed. As it was bough from the shop if you take the bell off. Even the reflectors are on it! I have not even had to change a tube. Have had to add a couple of PSI but even the air in the tires is from 1994. No pedals with sale as I didn't get any when it came to me. The ones I used i still need.
The full spec can be found here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/v/M ... e.pdf.html
This is the sort of bike that you first got/given as present back in the day that started the the whole MTB thing for you. Not a dream spec you might have eventually upgraded to, but a good quality 'It all works just fine as it should' MTB before you were worried about the type of rear mech your bike had. Want to keep but not the right size. Have a 'if it don't get ridden, gotta go' policy so its gotta go.
thanks
