Marin Mount Vision 1998 rear disc mount.

Hi all,

I have posted this question in 1998 onwards section but would like to add the link here as this bike is right on the cusp.

I have a problem with the swinging arm, disc mount adapter and Hope No 1 Caliper configuration.

I may be wrong, but I'm sure it wasn't a No.1 caliper on the rear.

What makes you think it is?

Have you phoned the UK Marin distributors? They found the replacement swingarm for me when I enquired.

Marin rear disc mount bracket and Hope C2 No 1 caliper

Found the information I needed with this photo.

The question was what caliper goes on that bracket. I researched it and the Marin website said it was the Hope No 1 C2 caliper. I have one of those but couldn't figure out how it goes together. It shows it mounted in the picture. One of the bolt holes that holds the two halves of the caliper together is also utilised as a nounting hole. Together with some spacers this is all I needed. Now looking for a swinging arm with the 10mm threaded lugs before I modify one of mine. :xmas-big-grin:
