Marin decals

Can any of you learned fellows tell me whether Marin forks from 1990 models had "marin" printed on each leg or were these spinner forks clear of all markings other than the Tange decal?
Also does anyone know where I might be able to source said decals these days?

Re:

Some did, some didn't from what I remember. Must have been up to the person building the bike up. See Gil_M on here for decals.

Re:

I believe the forks just had the tange decals on the sides near the brake posts.

Although there could be variations around the globe. most i've seen have nay decals on the front.

If you need any decals for marin contact out gil_m on here...

If i remember right he's direct on [email protected]

cheers.

My 90 (and dads) defo only had the Tange decals.

I only recall seeing the marin branding in later years - but I only viewed bikes in one shop and they were quite rare around here i.e. I didn't see a large selection ... :D

Re:

...thought it was tange on the Team and Marin rockstar on the other models...the Team forks are a different shape to the Pine Mountain for example....could be wrong I often am...

I think rockstar came in later years ? Maybe 91 ?

Mine and dads low / middle range (palisades and bear valley) wore these decals :

Although my bear valley had nicer dropouts.

They must have mixed and matched though, palisades with the nice drop outs, these had the same tange decals as above :

From the 90 catalogue :

My '90 Palisades and Bear Valley have the Tange decals on the forks.

But my '90 Pine Mountain has no decals - perhaps that fork isn't made of Tange tubing?

Those decals can be found on Ebay (nos or replicas) or yeah, Gil is your man.

Re:

I had a dark grey zolatone Eldridge Grade. Can't remember if it had a Tange sticker but it did come with Marin stickers for the front of the forks. They hadn't been fitted, and were just loose in the owner's manual.
