Marin decals

Re:

Thanks guys - I'm realising that the rockstar forks were a 91 introduction, lightweight at 740g as opposed to the spinners which were 1kg in weight and made with Tange tubing. Some people seem to like the spinners but I'm not so sure they are better than the lightweight rock stars. Happy for someone to prove me wrong though as I'm stuck with the heavy weight forks :|

I don't know what rides best but if your chasing weight go with the rock stars (but I think some versions were lighter than others ?). If you want looks (and they have the nice drop outs) go with the spinners :D

Or just stick with whatever came with the frame / was right for the year 8)

Re:

I stand corrected! Although my forks have thicker blades than the ones you show WD, with a tange decal...my wife has a 91 Eldridge and that has the rockstar fork decal and looks the same as yours...

Mix and match, just get it painted, stickerd and out of the door ...

If someone was making bonus - who cared ...

Re:

I'll stick with the good old spinners then - much nicer now they have been re sprayed in fluoro red and clear coated. Just need the decals now...

Re:

90 Eldridge with Tange, 91 Pine Mountain without. Thinking back, as mentioned the fork decals came with the bikes from new. Some shops must have chosen to mount them before sale, some not.
