Mango M2, 1998.

I bought this back in february and it's taken me this long to get some photos of it! (29.9.14) Life's busy, I'm lazy etc etc.
It was pretty much original spec and has had low use by the look of it. Now built up with some nicer stuff and a set of T-Serv slicks for my (occassional) road commute and other bits of leisure cruising around. I do love a good M2 ~ I've lost count but I think this might be my 6th one!
She's pretty much built how I like them now, but I'll get some proper tyres on next spring for some more off roady stuff on sunny sundays

So 98 was the first year with the beefed up gusset at the ht/dt junction then?

Ummm, not sure really. The lower box gusset and upper spear gusset (I think that's what they're called) first got added in 1995 ~ maybe? Unless anyone knows better?

My 97 had the top tube 'spear' but the down tube gusset was only single layer IYSWIM.
If your mango is a 98 (and am I right in thinking they only did mango for one year?) then that is the first year for the beefier box gusset.
