Anyhoo, all retro bikers are welcome at all MacRetro gatherings

Californian designed possibly, I will have the Rock Lobster ready for then and I'm not sure how much input they have into the Merlin built ones.

Luckily a lack of storage space limits the number of bikes. Two seems to be the max.

I think I may have to pop down to Glentress and have a wee practice, it's been a while to be honest since I've done any decent runs.

Is there a record lap time for 44 year olds who smoke and have a serious Guinness addiction I wonder?

Just to clear up the 'Steel is Real' theme of this years BDW....

Last year we did Pace, it wasn't a requirement of the event to have one, it was just a additional award in the show and shine section. We also had a display of Paces. This year there will be an additional award for the best steel bike and a separate display.
By all means have a theme if you are doing a show but if it's just a ride do be careful as you might put out the wrong idea.

As for attendence- we don't even have any North East people coming to their own flagship event this year so don't expect an invasion from the south. Piss poor. I'll be coming up to GT but I wouldn't expect anyone else to.

Have advertised our Big Clan Gathering for October 23rd in the Rides and Events page.

I live in hope that some Englandshire residents other than our Ambassador Dr. S will pop across the dotted line to join us on that day. Also hope it doesn't rain, I like to dream the impossible dream
